MWOW!: Museums Without Walls provides curriculum driven virtual field trips for P-12 teachers and the students. In a time when fewer and fewer P-12 students get to visit local museums as part of their schooling, MWOW! helps museums and classroom teachers do the next best thing—bring the museum to the classroom. But, rather than just virtually “touring” the museums, MWOW! takes a museum object and its story and links it to existing lessons and activities that are state guidelines compliant.
MWOW! is a partnership between the Northern Kentucky University Public History program, the Grant County Middle School, Villa Madonna Academy and the museums and cultural heritage institutions of Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati Tri-state region.
